What is Windows File Recovery?
Windows File Recovery is a free tool from Microsoft, installed from the Microsoft Store. It recovers deleted files from internal drives, USB drives and memory cards using different modes for recently deleted, formatted or corrupted disks.
It is command-line only, so you type commands such as source drive, destination drive and file filters. The destination must be a different drive.
